OSTSEE HOCHZEIT, DEUTSCHLAND

a SUMMER WEDDING by the SEA

W/ KATJA & DENNIS

A summer wedding at Timmendorfer Strand — a day I will remember for a long time.

We started the day with the getting ready at Absalonshorst, where there was time to capture all the little and big details of their wedding. One of the most beautiful things about getting ready: in the end, you get to see how your favorite person spent the moments before everything began.

The ceremony took place at Lakehouse 54, with a view over the sparkling water and that warm summer air resting gently above the lake. Afterwards we celebrated Katja and Dennis’ love with a toast, raising glasses of sparkling wine together.

And instead of heading straight to the final location, we made a spontaneous stop at the mini golf course in Timmendorfer Strand. How cool is that?! One of those moments you never forget — and probably the people standing around didn’t either, when bride Katja made the perfect shot.

Of course we also took advantage of the sea just around the corner for a short couple session, enjoying a few quiet moments together — the kind that bring you right back into the present in the middle of a busy wedding day.

After that, we grabbed some ice cream to go and continued to the reception location, where the next highlight was already waiting: a champagne tower, lots of happy faces and a toast to this very special connection between the two of them.

Later in the afternoon there was coffee and the most delicious cake in the world (with plenty of sweet treats). Slowly the day turned into one of those warm summer evenings that feels like a holiday with your favorite people — light, loud with laughter, and exactly how a wedding by the sea should feel.

Cheers to you.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER HAMBURG – GERMANY

I first connected with these two beautiful humans through Instagram and instantly felt a special connection. In Corralejo, Fuerteventura, I picked them up and we drove out to Popcorn Beach in the late evening.

When we arrived at this magical place, we walked barefoot through the “sand”, climbed over rocks and wandered somewhere between the Atlantic Ocean and dusty roads that make this island feel so unique.

We laughed, danced and captured the most intimate moments. Watching the sun slowly sink towards the horizon, we used that soft golden light to collect the most beautiful memories. One of those days where everything simply unfolds on its own — nothing staged, nothing forced.

Just the ocean and the wind meeting two people holding onto each other as if this moment could last forever. And in a way, it does. A story of a very special connection, somewhere between sunset and moonlight — and endless gratitude for this encounter.
