WHAT MOVES ME & my STORY

At the heart of my art of wedding photography is the connection we build with each other, because it is the foundation for everything that unfolds. For over 8 years now, I’ve been accompanying couples around the world as a wedding photographer on their “forever” yes.
I’m not just your photographer, but like a friend – calm, empathetic (with a tendency toward bad jokes), and someone who holds space for you. My couples are as diverse as their stories: introverted or extroverted, close to nature, adventurous, and brave enough to place their own love above the expectations and conventions of others. And that’s exactly where the most honest moments are born. When you feel safe, truly seen, and able to fully arrive in yourselves, something special happens: you are present. You feel light. And that’s when authentic, emotional wedding photos come to life – natural, effortless, and full of feeling, captured in images that feel like you and that, even years later, bring you right back to how it all felt.

Storytelling and creativity have always been at the core of everything I do. As a child, I loved diving deep into the most romantic movies with my mom and analyzing the stories behind them. I would always imagine myself as the main character and within two seconds, I was the leading lady of my own film. (Only for the movie to eventually end at some point haha.)

During my studies in communication design (I looove aesthetics!), I was also working as an actress in front of the camera – except other people were writing the script for me. At the same time, I was singing at weddings, because I apparently sang my very first musical notes in my crib at the age of three. (Spoiler: I placed second on a German casting show.) And since I love love, I sang at weddings.

It took about a work-and-travel stay in Australia for the universe to metaphorically smack a baguette against my head and make me realize: THAT’S IT! I want to do what fascinates me most – photography. Shout out to Grandma Lotti in heaven: she used to develop analog photos herself and gave me a feeling that has stayed with me to this day. I want to tell love stories and capture moments with my camera that you can return to and feel again, as often as you like. For over eight years now, I’ve been accompanying couples around the world on their very personal “I do” – as a wedding photographer from Hamburg with a love for intimate weddings, elopements, and destination weddings. What drives me has always remained the same: honest emotions, real connection, and images that feel alive. Intimate, personal, and truthfully told.

And when I’m not pursuing my greatest passion of storytelling, I’m probably singing along to Taylor Swift in the shower, chasing whitewater waves along the coast of Portugal (because that’s the most fun!), sitting in a van or on a plane heading to the next adventure, creating mood boards for my next dream shoot, listening to true crime podcasts, reading my way through my own little library and analyzing stories, winning at Yahtzee, wandering around with my digital and analog cameras, or sitting on the couch knitting — just in case I want to be really good at it when I’m a grandma one day.
