PASTA & PROMISES in ABRUZZEN
W/ AMBRA & FREDO
Wedding in Pescara, Italy – Pasta, wine & an unforgettable dinner under the open sky
Back in the country where the best pizzas in the world were invented, Ambra & Fred’s day began quietly and with a beautiful sense of ease. Since the bride has Italian roots, it was clear from the beginning: this is where their forever “I do” would take place.
During the getting ready we captured all the little and big details, before they saw each other for the first time in an emotional first look. The first tears were already flowing there (including mine!).
Because the two of them wanted to share their words privately, they exchanged letters before the ceremony while I quietly documented the moment from the background — goosebumps included.
The ceremony then took place on the most beautiful meadow beside the venue, La Casa del Gelso. Surrounded by their closest people, heartfelt speeches in both Italian and German filled the air. It was emotional, warm and full of lightness — one of those ceremonies that stays with you long after the day is over.
Later in the afternoon we moved to the back part of the venue, where a long Italian table was waiting beneath strings of lights. Plates of pasta, clinking glasses, laughter and conversations that seemed to stretch endlessly — exactly how an Italian summer evening should feel.
And as the night slowly settled over Pescara, the dinner turned into the best party imaginable. A DJ from Berlin, Alba, made sure no one stayed seated for long. People danced, laughed, sang and embraced each other under the lights and the stars — well into the night.
A wedding that will stay in my heart for a long time. Because of the people, the atmosphere, and the kind of moments that simply can’t be recreated.
Location: La Casa del Gelso

DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER ITALY – WEDDING IN PESCARA
I first connected with these two beautiful humans through Instagram and instantly felt a special connection. In Corralejo, Fuerteventura, I picked them up and we drove out to Popcorn Beach in the late evening.
When we arrived at this magical place, we walked barefoot through the “sand”, climbed over rocks and wandered somewhere between the Atlantic Ocean and dusty roads that make this island feel so unique.
We laughed, danced and captured the most intimate moments. Watching the sun slowly sink towards the horizon, we used that soft golden light to collect the most beautiful memories. One of those days where everything simply unfolds on its own — nothing staged, nothing forced.
Just the ocean and the wind meeting two people holding onto each other as if this moment could last forever. And in a way, it does. A story of a very special connection, somewhere between sunset and moonlight — and endless gratitude for this encounter.
