Late summer wedding in the Algarve – sun, olive trees and a day full of lightness.

Back in my absolute favorite country, I had the honor of capturing this dream wedding of Timon & Bella. The three of us had already met beforehand during a shoot, which made it even more special for me to document this unforgettable day of theirs as their wedding photographer.

​

Arriving at the location in the Algarve, I was welcomed by the most beautiful light and the scent of olive trees and freedom – a place that feels made for a destination wedding in Portugal. And here, in a private villa in the south of Portugal, the two of them said their forever “I do” surrounded by their closest loved ones.

​

The ceremony took place under an old olive tree and was led by one of their dearest friends. Not only did the two of them shed a few tears (it was so beautiful!), but even in the last rows there wasn’t a single dry eye left – including mine.

This beautiful day was planned by my dear friend and experienced destination wedding planner Pia, who discovered this hidden gem in the Algarve.

After the ceremony, the guests spread out around the pool and garden. Aperitifs in the sun, deep conversations, laughter fits and unforgettable moments with all the wonderful people who were there. It felt like the most perfect summer day with the people who mean the most.

​

As the sun slowly dipped and turned the landscape golden, we literally ran towards the sunset. Free, wild, full of love and lightness, ending the evening under the Portuguese stars (including the best dance moves to Loona). A destination wedding that was exactly what it should be: an unforgettable day filled with the most meaningful moments and connections that last.
